Two Write-in Candidates for A-H Public Library Trustees

By Doris Elmore

With the election less than two weeks away, voters need to be aware to look closely at the ballot before they vote.

For the positions of Atwood-Hammond Public Library District, there are two write-ins, Mareva Schwass and Pat Johnson. Their names will not appear on the ballot because the candidates did not take out petitions like normal, they made the decision to be on the library board after the regular filing deadline. However, they did make the deadline to be a write-in candidate. The only way they can be elected is by having their name written in. There is still one vacancy for the library board.
