MCGILL TAKES 4TH IN REGIONAL SPELLING BEE. Cameron McGill, an eighth grader at Arthur Grade School finished fourth in the 45th Annual Regional Spelling Bee at Richland College in Decatur on Saturday, March 11. Cameron won the Douglas County Bee to qualify for the Regional. He was accompanied by his spelling coach, Rhonda Rhodes; and supporters, Kathy McGill, Pam Graves Hartshorn and Brianne Eads. Mrs. Rhodes had this to say about his day, “He was competing with 22 winners from 10 counties. Loved watching his confidence, smile and good attitude.” Congratulations, Cameron!
