Atwood Village Board’s 3-Year Plan Underway

The Atwood Village Board president and trustees have a 3-year plan they are working on for the village. This article will give you plans for FY 2022-2023 & 2023-24 for some of the departments. Approximately every couple of weeks, we will bring you additional departments with their projects.

WATER & SEWER DEPARTMENT: 2022-2023

Install remaining high service pump at sewer plant. (Done)

Clean/seal coat water tower (Done)

Continue mapping service-water/sewer (Done)

New blowers/bar screens at sewer plant (Waiting on bid)

Purchase 1-ton dump truck w/blade, share cost with streets (move to 2023/24)

Replace end points on water meters (done)

Purchase attachments for Hydro-vac/Jetter (move to 2023-24)

Remodel sewer plant building (move to 2024-2025)

Replace sewer generator

New blowers/bar screens

PARKS & RECREATION: 2022-2023

Parking for SE & T-ball diamonds (Done)

Purchase additional land west of park (in process)

Paint exterior concession, gates, sign posts, benches, etc. (Done)

Repair concession door & replace A/C

PARKS & RECREATION: 2023-2024

Oil/chip roads

Lighting on SE diamond & upgrade to LED

Install more LED lights on NW Diamond

More red field product

Business District resurfacing & refinancing of current loan
