Amish Bike Ride Draws Crowd. There were 281 cyclists and 20 volunteers for the 2022 Amish Country Bicycle Ride on Sept. 17. The purpose of the event is to promote bicycling for recreational, bicycle safety and in this specific event to show off the heart of Illinois Amish Countryside and area. Pauly’s served a fabulous meal and everyone stayed safe while riding. There were several stops along the routes to assist the riders and provide snacks in some places.
