ALAH Cheerleaders inviting community to decorate for homecoming

Homecoming Sign Making on September 28:

The Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School Cheerleaders are inviting all of our communities to come together to make this the BEST Homecoming yet!

ALAH Knights Homecoming Week is October 3-8 and the theme is “Wild West”.

All community members are invited to attend a Spirit Sign Making Event on Wednesday, September 28 from 6-8PM.

These signs will be used to decorate the main streets of all of our communities, along with the high school and the football field.

The Homecoming Football Game is Friday, October 7 vs. the Arcola Purple Riders.

We want our towns and communities to be painted red, black and gold!

Please join us Wednesday evening, September 28 from 6-8PM in the old high school gym. If you have supplies, please bring them. If you do not, we will have some available. Questions? Contact Misty Appleby at 217-550-5350.

Town Decorating on Saturday, October 1:

The Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School Cheerleaders are inviting all of our communities and our business owners to decorate your homes and businesses on Saturday, October 1.

The cheerleaders will be out and about in all of four communities throughout the day, hanging signs, painting windows, and spreading school spirit. They will be in Atwood at 8:00 a.m.; Hammond at 9:15 a.m.; Arthur at 10:15 a.m. and Lovington after lunch.

Cheerleaders will be bringing supplies to decorate the downtown. You are able to use our supplies, or bring your own to the party.

Business owners and home owners, please decorate your windows and yards! We want to see school spirit everywhere!

If you are not able to meet us, and would like to help with cost of supplies, donations of materials, or lunch for the cheerleaders, you can contact Misty Appleby 217-550-5350.
