JH Student Coach Kailee Otto gathered the infielders on the mound for a pep talk in the top of the sixth inning in the Regional game with Cumberland. The Pirates had taken a 2 run lead and the Knights needed one more out to get out of the inning. Kailee’s talk worked as they got the out and then scored 4 runs in the bottom of the sixth to take an 11-9 lead going into the seventh and final inning. The Pirates only had four batters in that inning and the Knights came away with the 11-9 victory. They were to face Casey Westfield at Casey in the second round of the Regional on Saturday, September 10.
