KING AND QUEEN CANDIDATES. The Cerro Gordo High School Homecoming Queen and King candidates for 2022 have been announced. The school bonfire will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 22 at the Piatt County Fairgrounds. This year the king and queen will be announced during the halftime performance.
Cerro Gordo High School will celebrate 2022 Homecoming week September 19-23 with the theme being Biomes. Students will celebrate the week with dress up days and float building.
Thursday, September 22, the school bonfire will be held at 7:00 pm at the Piatt County Fairgrounds.
On Friday students will participate during the morning in class competition games run by the cheerleaders.
The lineup for the parade will start at 12:15 pm in the front parking lot of the high school with the parade slated to start at 1:00 pm.
That evening the CGB Broncos will host the Sangamon Valley Storm with gametime starting at 7:00 pm.
The homecoming court will be introduced during the halftime performance at which time the king and queen will be announced.
The homecoming dance will take place Saturday, September 24 from 7-10:00 pm in the outdoor classroom located in the back of the school.
