FIREMEN HONORED.

FIREMEN HONORED. The current Arthur Fire Department members hosted a dinner on Wednesday, August 10 and the retired Arthur firemen were the guests of honor. Between these 11 men they represent a total of 248 years of service to the Arthur Fire District. Chief Chris Helton and Captain Steve Honn stated, “We are blessed to have an excellent fire department and it started years ago with dedication of our retired firefighters. It is important to remember where you come from!” Today, the Arthur Fire Department is 109 years old with 33 men on the roster and a district that encompasses 97 square miles.
