Road Repairs/Construction continues for the Harvest Ridge Wind Farm Road

NOTICE
Road Repairs/Construction continues for the Harvest Ridge Wind Farm Road repairs during the week of August 19, 2022. Dependent on the weather, the following roadways will be closed to through traffic from 10:00 AM Monday, August 29, 2022 to 6:00 PM Tuesday, August 30, 2022 (in the event of inclement weather the days will be adjusted accordingly):
CH-4 (CR 1450N) between CH-6(CR 2150E) and CH-5 (CR 2530E)
CR 2350E between CH-5(CR 1450N) and CR 1550N
CR 2450E between CH-5(CR 1450N) and CR 1550N
The roadways will be closed to through traffic for Bituminous Prime and Bituminous Surface Treatment construction.
Local traffic and landowners will have use of the roadways after the Bituminous Prime is installed, however, the highway officials and Contractor request that driving speed be kept at or below 15 MPH. This work will be weather dependent.
Additionally, there will be short term road closures within the wind farm project on the Northeast side of Douglas County for the construction of the final bituminous seal coat application beginning at 7:00 AM on Friday, August 26, 2022
The road closures are necessary for the Harvest Ridge Wind Farm Post Construction project being constructed on behalf of the Douglas County Highway Department, Murdock Township Highway Commissioner, and the Newman Township Highway Commissioner.
The travelling public is reminded to use caution when driving through the project area, and to abide by the posted traffic control signs and traffic control devices.
