COWBOY UP. Saddle bronc riding and steer wrestling were just two of the action packed events at the Heart of Amish Country Pro Rodeo. The event took place two nights at the fairgrounds in Arthur over the weekend as participants came from 13 states. Organizers Wilber Otto and Marion Herschberger were thrilled with the attendance, close to 1,500 each night, and plans are underway for its return next year. The Arthur-Atwood Lions Club served food along with other food trucks on hand to handle the crowd. Local calf dressing teams provided some funny entertainment as well. Wrangler and Rural King along with many local sponsors made it possible to bring Latting Rodeo Productions to the community.
