Rope making was just one of the hands on demonstrations for those in attendance. This Keck Gonnernman steam engine was manufactured around 1920 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. It is a 20 horsepower engine and is owned by the Harris Agriculture Museum of Atwood.
“The 2022 version of Steam Threshing Days was a colossal success! Record attendance with people coming all the way from Australia. We had a huge Friday and an even bigger Saturday. More demonstrations and vendors made for a great weekend,” Co-Chairman Jim Fleming stated. The first Steam Threshing Days was held in 2016 and the next will be in 2024.
