Raymond F. Atteberry

Raymond F. Atteberry, 88, of Webster Florida, formally of La Place Illinois passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

Raymond was born to Cecil and Nellie (Miller) Atteberry on December 10, 1933. He married Anita Coon on October 4th 1952. She preceded him in death.

Raymond is survived by his children Tom (Delvona) Atteberry, of Monterey TN, Lynna (Jerry) Traxler of La Place, IL, Laurie (Cody) Sheets of Oakley, IL and Kari Fort of Bethany IL. He leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. Ray is also survived by his brother Carl (Linda) Atteberry of Decatur, IL, Edythe (Bernard) Bork of Oakley, IL and Evelyn Eads of Cerro Gordo, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Anita, his brother in law Ciney Eads, and one grandson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

    Tom Atteberry, Lynna Traxler, Laurie Sheets and Kari Fort, you all forgot to mention he was also survived by Betty Atteberry HIS WIFE of 29 years. I’M sure you all just forgot.

    Betty Atterberry, his wife of almost 30 years, also survives. How very disrespectful to both of them that you did not mention her. She is also grieving the loss of her husband.

    My Aunt Betty is he wife for 29 years. You all should be ashamed to treat her this way.

    To all you Atteberrys. RAY WAS AN AWESOME MAN AND WAS LOVED BY ALOT OF US, including his amazing wife Betty and beautiful bonus daughter Debbie. RAY LOVED THEM BOTH VERY MUCH!
    They will forgive you in time for the pain you caused them but, will GOD forgive you for all the pain you caused.
