Discover aviation in your area at the EAA Chapter 274 Decatur Open House July 19

Discover more about the world of flight in your own area. As EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) Chapter 274 of Decatur is hosting an Open House July 19 from 7-8 pm at Hanger 102A Decatur Airport.

EAA Chapter 274 is one of 900 local chapters of Experimental Aircraft Association, the world’s largest organization for recreational flying. EAA’s mission is to grow participation in Aviation through flying, restoring and volunteer outreach, sharing “The Spirit of Aviation” and encouraging all who wish to participate.

During the OPEN HOUSE, EAA Chapter 274 members will present to answer questions, give tours of the flight simulator and information about the next Young Eagles event. Snacks will be provided while supplies last. This event is open to all ages.
