There comes a time in your life that you say, “I’ve worked long enough, time to retire.” That was Tammy Taylor’s feelings as she retired from the First State Bank in Atwood on Thursday, June 30. Tammy began her job at the bank on April 21, 2003.
Several people stopped in at the bank on Thursday during an open house in her honor. Tammy was head teller and Kris Issler, Branch Supervisor, says she has done an “awesome job.”
Tammy had a nice smile and friendly hello to everyone as they entered the bank. She was excellent at her job. One lady remarked she didn’t know what she was going to do without her. It is nice to retire when people feel that way about your years of service to the bank.
When asked about what she was going to do after retirement, “Nothing” was Tammy’s reply. Best wishes Tammy, enjoy doing nothing.
