School is out and summer is in! Enjoy a ton of summer sun with the youth from the United Church of Atwood. These are community events and all children are urged to attend and enjoy the fun.
A Fun Day at the Atwood Park will be held on Wednesday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at no charge. Lunch will be provided.
There will be activities, crafts, Bible story, and a bike ride. Please bring your bike, trike, wagon or something to ride and decorate. At the close of the day, Atwood Police Chief Rob Bross will escort the parade of “vehicles” to the United Church of Atwood parking lot. This should be a fun day, one to look forward to.
The kids are also invited to re-decorate their bike and ride as a group in the Apple Dumpling Parade at 1 p.m. on August 20. See you at the park on Wed., June 15, at 9 a.m.
Coming up on Saturday, July 23 will be an Outdoor Movie at the church at 7:30 p.m. Movie starts at dusk. Hot dogs and popcorn will be available. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket.
Another Fun Day at the Park will be held on Wednesday, August 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Water games will highlight the day, but don’t forget our other activities, crafts and Bible story. Lunch will be provided.
In case of rain for any of the events, the fun will be moved to the Fellowship Hall of the United Church of Atwood. Mark your calendar for all three events. Grab a friend and enjoy the fun.
