Arthur Community VBS is ready to cook up some fun for June 13-17

Getting back to the VBS we all know and love! Four area churches are collaborating to offer community wide Vacation Bible School being held at Arthur Mennonite Church on June 13-17 from 9:00-11:30am daily.

This year’s “Food Truck Party” VBS invites children to pray as Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:11. These words serve as a reminder that everything we have comes from God, and by turning to God in prayer, all of our daily needs are met. Children will learn the countless way God provides, loves, and cares for us while inviting them to join God in doing those things for others.

Children ages PreK – Jr. High are invited to attend. Children born on or before September 1, 2017 are eligible.

First Baptist, Arthur Mennonite, Arthur United Methodist, and Vine Street Christian are excited to bring this week-long event back to the community. There is no fee for children to attend, although each year the children are encouraged to contribute to a local and a global mission project. This year’s Mission Project will be donated to the Wednesday Night Community Meals and CRU- a community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ.
