Joseph Ray Mast

Joseph Ray Mast, 33 of rural Arthur, IL passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 as the result of a drowning accident near Bo Wood access area at Lake Shelbyville

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the Homer Miller residence, 321 E CR 300 N, Arthur, IL Raymond S. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery in rural Arcola, IL. Visitation will begin anytime after 2:00 P.M. on Monday, May 16, 2022, and any time after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, all at the Homer Miller residence. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Joseph was born on February 11, 1989, in Urbana, IL. He is a son of Joe and Rosanna (Plank) Mast.

He is survived by his parents, Joe and Rosanna Mast of rural Arthur, one brother, James Mark Mast of rural Arthur, IL

Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, Menno J. and Elizabeth C. (Gingerich) Mast and John B. and Leah (Miller) Plank.

Joseph has worked with his dad, Joe and his brother, James at Heartland Machine and Supply in rural Arthur for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends.

Joseph was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
