CGB BOYS’ BASEBALL SENIORS HONORED
CGB BOYS’ BASEBALL SENIORS HONORED. Six Cerro Gordo-Bement Broncos senior boys’ baseball players and their parents were recognized on Wednesday, May 4 at the last home game for their contributions to the program as they hosted the Knights from Blue Ridge. Baseball players and their parents included Spencer Sterling, son of Sean and Sara Sterling; Austin Cottrell, son of Terry Cottrell and Stephanie West and Rebecca and Tim Wittmer; Drew Cripe, son of Barry and Melissa Cripe; Garrett Daniels, son of Tracy and Jason Daniels, Aiden Shonkwiler, son of Kent Shonkwiler and the late Stephanie Shonkwiler; and Xander Hutchcraft, son of Tosha Hooker and Jim Hutchcraft. The Broncos defeated the Blue Ridge Knights 11-5.
