Arthur Rotary Club hosting free electronic recycling, sensitive document Shred-it event

The Arthur Rotary Club will be hosting a free electronic recycling and sensitive document Shred-it event for Arthur residents only, on May 21 from 9-12 or until trucks are full.

Com2 Recycling and Shred-it will have a truck behind the Arthur grade school accepting the following items: flat screen TV up to 70” measured diagonally across the screen, personal desktop printer, countertop microwave, personal desktop computer, laptop, computer tower, monitor, keyboard, mice, fax machine, scanner, DVD player or recorder, VCR, video game consoles, digital converter boxes, cable receiver, cables, portable digital music player, electronic cable, headphone, landline and cell phones, tablets. rechargeable toothbrush or waterpik.

No office copiers, wooden console TV, projector TV or satellite dishes accepted. No white goods accepted such as washer, dryer, air conditioners, stoves or refrigerators.

Sensitive paper documents will be shredded on site. Media, CD Roms, X rays and hard drives will be taken back to their company for disposal. Please remove any large binder clips from paper products. Staples are accepted. This is shredding of important, private, sensitive documents, Newspapers, magazines and the like, not accepted.

We can take unlimited computers and accessories at our recycle event.

No limit per household or local business for sensitive documents.

Donations for the Arthur Fireworks will be accepted.
