ALAH Men Run To 2nd At SJO

The ALAH Knights men’s track squad traveled to St. Joseph April 29 for the SJO Spartan Classic.

The rains held off to provide good conditions against outstanding competition.

Thirty teams entered including 2A powers Mt. Zion, Mahomet-Seymour, Monticello as well as elite, state contenders Tuscola, Salt Fork, Ridgeview and Shelbyville. This meet also included Freshman/Sophomore events that were included in the team scores.

Though scoring in Varsity events only, the Knights brought home the team runner-up trophy, only outscored by Mt. Zion’s talented roster.

The usual suspects did the scoring for ALAH. Max Allen once again tore up the sprint events.
