Informational symposium to be held for residents to learn about Moultrie County’s Wind Energy Conversion System Regulations
SULLIVAN, IL – – – Area residents interested in learning more about Moultrie County’s wind energy conversion system regulations are invited to attend an informational symposium sponsored by the Wind Energy Conversion System Committee/Moultrie County Board.
Billy Voyles, Chairman of the Moultrie County Board’s and Wind Energy Conversion System Committee announced that he will be convening a special meeting of the committee so members can learn more about the wind energy conversion system ordinance.
“I believe it is important for Moultrie County Board members to learn as much as possible about the county’s applicable regulations,” Voyles said. “We are inviting interested county residents to join us in this sharing of information.”
One meeting will be held and the information presented will be the presentation of a proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance 77-1, Article 18, Section 18.1, Paragraph 7 (18.1(7)) of Moultrie County, Illinois.
A copy of the draft will be available on Moultrie County Website, Planning & Zoning Page and in the Moultrie County Planning & Zoning/Assessment Office for public viewing on April 6, 2022 and after.
The meeting will be held on April 25, 2022, in the Sullivan High School Commons Room, 725 N. Main Street, Sullivan, Illinois. The meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m.
