SPRING ANTIQUE WEEKEND. The annual spring antique shows held on March 4 and 5 in Arthur, Arcola, and Tuscola could not have asked for better “spring-like” weather as temperatures reached 70 degrees on Saturday. Shoppers from all over including New York, Texas, Colorado, Montana, and New Jersey just to name a few, came to see some of the best dealers selling the finest country primitives, early Americana, and folk art at A Gathering on the Prairie show held at the Otto Center. The fall shows will return to the area November 11 and 12 at the Arthur Sale Barn and the Otto Center.
