CGB Girls Basketball

Cerro Gordo High School was the host for the IHSA Class 1A girls basketball Regional which saw the Broncos face the Mt. Pulaski Lady Toppers in the championship game. Junior Broncos Reese Brunner (#33) drives the baseline and puts up the shot over Mt. Pulaski’s Grace Davis (#1) early in the 1st quarter last Friday evening February 18. The lead went back and forth early as both teams played tough defense. CGB had a 2-point lead 11-9 going into the 2nd quarter.
