Carol F. Postlewait

Carol F. Postlewait, 72, of Atwood, passed away at 3:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. 

Services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, with Rev. Don Gerkin officiating.  

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.  

Carol was born January 17, 1950 in Breese, IL the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy Eagan Reynolds.  She married Delbert Lee Postlewait on March 30, 1968 in Tuscola, IL. He survives. 

Also surviving are her son: James Lee (Rita) Postlewait of Tunica, MS; daughter: Amanda (Brad) Dehart of Atwood; grandchildren: Caitlin Postlewait, John Dee Phillips, Machyliana Arbuckle, Andrea Dehart, Sydney Dehart and Layla Deel, great-granddaughter: Ashlynn Brandon, siblings: Steve Reynolds, Debra (Steve) Waldrop and Tammy (Ronnie) Boeser and sister-in-law: Linda Reynolds 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Michael Reynolds and sister: Connie Peach Eversoll. 

Carol formerly worked at the Atwood Sweet Shop and as a taxi driver for the Amish. She was a member of the Tuscola Women of the Moose.  

Memorials are suggested to the family to help pay for funeral expenses.
