Corey L. Larimore Now in Custody

Corey L. Larimore of Tuscola & Atwood is now in custody at the Douglas County Jail after being pursued for 7 weeks by law enforcement agencies.
According to information from Arcola Police Department, on Friday, January 22, at approximately 9:48 p.m., the Arcola Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a dark colored pickup driven by Larimore. Larimore, who was wanted on numerous outstanding warrants out of
Douglas and surrounding counties, led officers on a short vehicle pursuit.
Larimore was taken into custody in Arcola without incident. Larimore was charged with Disobeyed Stop Sign, Speeding 35+mph over posted limit, Depositing Material on Highway, Driving While License Revoked, Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Weapon by a Felon, and the outstanding warrants.
Larimore is currently in the custody at the Douglas County Jail pending court appearance.
