Judi Pollock to seek re-election

Judi Pollock, Douglas County Clerk & Recorder is announcing that she will seek re-election for a third term in the upcoming General Primary June 28, 2022. Pollock was appointed to the position of Clerk & Recorder in January 2013 and ran for election in 2014 and 2018. Prior to serving as County Clerk & Recorder, she was Newman City Clerk for 20 years and served as Mayor for almost 4 years prior to resigning to serve in her current position.
Judi has a passion for serving the public and working hard to maintain the fiscal responsibility that our county tax payers deserve. She has continued to improve office processes and procedures to better serve the public and to make sure that the most up to date technology is available. Since being elected as Clerk & Recorder, Pollock has served as Treasurer of Zone III of the Illinois Association of Clerk’s & Recorders, President of Zone III for the past five years having been elected by her peers as Clerk & Recorder of the Year, Zone III in 2017, 2020, and 2021. Pollock is currently serving on the legislative committee for the Clerk & Recorders Association, Association Secretary, Treasurer to Special Action Committee and a member of the State Board of Elections Advisory Committee for the past five years.
