100 People Who Care to hold meeting
100 People Who Care, a fundraising initiative of the District #305 Education Foundation will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19 at La Cascada in Arthur. We are inviting those who have already purchased memberships as well as those who are interested in this effort. A contribution of $50 each quarter is required for a total yearly commitment of $200. Money raised for the Foundation through this effort and others has gone toward Chromebooks for all high school students, scholarships for seniors and mini-grants to faculty, among other things. We will share some of the exciting things our teachers are doing with the grant money they have received. If you are a member or have been considering becoming a member of this group, come to the meeting on January 19! We ask that if you want to have dinner, you purchase your own meal. We will have our annual meeting in April and at that meeting the Foundation will pay for shareholders’ meals. Need more information?
