Country Financial Makes Operation Helping Heroes donation to Arthur Fire Department
GIVING BACK. Presenting and accepting the Country Financial Operation Helping Heroes donations to the Arthur Fire Department are Vicki Bishop, Country Financial Representative, Chris Helton, Arthur Fire Chief, and Sara Sentel, Country Financial Administrative Assistant.
The holiday season always seems to bring out the kindness and generosity in most people and this year is no exception. Vicki Bishop, agent for Country Financial, is pleased to support the Arthur Fire Department as one of the 2021 recipient of Country Financial Operation Helping Heroes.
Wednesday, December 8, Vicki presented the Arthur Fire Department with a check for $750 and a $500 Walmart gift card to be used for needy families in the district.
Vicki states, “I’m so pleased to be able to help take care of those who help care for us and enrich our lives every day within our community-our first responders and teachers.” She continued, “It’s a small token of our appreciation that I hope will continue for Country Financial and our first responders to positively impact our community.
The fire department started packing food boxes on Monday of this week to deliver along with the toys donated to persons in the Arthur Fire District. The donation from Country Financial will continue to help these people through difficult times.
Country Financial donated $3 million in 2020 to organizations and programs that support first responders and active-duty service members, supporting the company’s vision to “enrich lives in the communities we serve.” Country Financial is continuing the program in 2021 and expanding the opportunity to educators, to help financial representatives further support their local community. The Operation Helping Heroes program was created in 2015 to support non-profit events and programs that benefit active-duty service members, veterans and their families.
