U-Knights – A website resource for the ALAH School District Facilities Committee Planning Process
School district encourages all members of the community to access this valuable resource
Arthur CUSD is looking to the future to ensure our students have what they need to be successful. “U-Knight 305 is a community led master planning program tasked with identifying the current and future goals, aspirations and facility needs of the Arthur CUSD #305 School District.”
The U Knights website (https://sites.google.com/bldd.com/u-knight305/home) has the latest presentation from meetings held and a video from the first community engagement session.
“This is a nice resource to inform the public about the facilities committee. It is very transparent and very thorough,” commented Superintendent Cheek.
The website lists all of the upcoming community engagement sessions as well as those that will be held virtually. The next upcoming community engagement session will be held in person Wednesday, December 1. Some of the things that will be discussed include community-built refined scenarios and introduction of district financing, tax information, and tax impact examples. They also will review refined/revised and additional scenarios related to potential masterplan solutions and provide feedback and identify rank order preference relative to costs and feasibility.
If you are unable to make the December meeting, another community engagement session will be held Wednesday, January 12.
All of the information presented at the community engagement sessions will be posted on the website for all of the community to stay informed and updated.
