Ella Mae Schrock

Ella Mae Schrock, 89, passed away August 30, 2021. She was born August 24, 1932 in Arthur, Illinois to the late Emory and Cora (Yoder) Beachey.

Ella came to Sarasota in 1988 from Arthur and attended Bethel Mennonite Church. She loved the Lord, family, music, and family gatherings. Ella was a wonderful homemaker and school cook. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years, Yost Schrock; children, Trudy Bondesen and her husband Kevin; Wanda Miller and her husband Jim; Tony Schrock and his wife Karen; Eric Schrock and his wife Cynthia; Amy Lantz and her husband Dave; sister, Rosa Cender; brothers, Jake Beachey; and Junior Beachey and his wife Judy; grandchildren Michelle, Chris, Meagan, Lauren, Nathan, Katrina, Ashley and her husband Cody, Matthew, Trevor, Taylore, Kyle and Payton; great-grandchild Dorothy Mae.

In addition to her parents, Ella was predeceased by her brother Ed.

There will be a memorial service on December 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at Friendship Baptist Church, 5700 Palmer Blvd., Sarasota, Florida. This service will be honoring Ella as well as her son, Eric Schrock who passed away 15 days later.
