CGB Cross Country Runner Qualifies for State

Cerro Gordo Bement sophomore Dylan Howell pictured after the Sectional cross country meet last Saturday. The race was held at Hickory Point Golf Club in Forsyth. Dylan qualified for the I.H.S.A State meet with a time of 16:55.28. He finished 14th overall and was one of the individual qualifiers to advance to the State meet. That meet will be run once again, after not being held last year, at historic Detweiller Park in Peoria. The Class 1A boys race will begin at 10:00 a.m. next Saturday, November 6.
