Additional Pavers Needed for Rajah Memorial Park & Veterans Memorial

Veterans Memorial at Rajah Memorial Park welcomes more engraved pavers.

Phase 1 of Rajah Memorial Park and Veterans Memorial has been changing on a daily basis due to the dedication of Alumni Dale & Jorena Hammel. They took on the project of laying the engraved pavers and have done a tremendous job.

Last week, Dale and Jorena laid the veteran’s pavers. While there are several for the veterans, more are needed to make the memorial look great. The James Reeder Post 770, Atwood American Legion & Auxiliary are planning to have the Veterans Day program at the Veterans

Memorial on November 11. They would like more pavers ordered so they can be laid before that day if possible.

Marsha Burgener is receiving orders for pavers on a daily basis for the veterans and Rajahs. If you haven’t ordered your special paver, contact Marsha at the A-H Public Library or visit the library website for Rajah Park.

If you haven’t stopped by Rajah Memorial Park in a while, stop by and see how much they have progressed with Phase 1. If you don’t have a paver for the Rajah Memorial Park or Veterans Memorial try and correct that today.
