All Atwood Village Residents Must Follow Zoning Ordinances

All Atwood village residents are reminded the village zoning ordinances exist and they must be followed, no exception. If you are considering building anything on a property, or storing anything on an empty property, please contact Atwood Building Inspector Roy Elmore to make sure what you are wanting to do complies with the ordinances.

If you are currently, or considering operating any type of business within a residence, a special permit MUST be applied for and granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals. Please contact the Building Inspector regarding this as well.

Please don’t proceed with your project and ask questions later. Be proactive so any issues can be resolved prior to these cases instead of the village board having to be reactive to the cases and create hardships for Atwood residents.
