Terry W. Morris

Terry W. Morris 70, of Decatur, IL passed away at 12:26 p.m., Saturday, August 28, 2021, in his residence.

A service to celebrate Terry’s life will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion, IL with Pastor Pat Pajak officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Terry was born March 21, 1951, in Decatur, IL the son of Bill and Jeaneen (Meece) Morris. He began his working career for Kopetz Manufacturing and later went on to work for Tabernacle Baptist Church. Terry was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. He enjoyed being surrounded by his dogs and watching western movies. He often reached out to help others with any of there projects or needs. He was an amazing Dad to his daughters and loving husband to his wife. Terry married Debra J. Thomas on June 26, 1971 and they recently celebrated fifty years of marriage together.

Surviving is his wife: Debbie of Decatur; mother: Jeanne Morris of Maroa, IL; daughters: Kim Morris and Jill Morris both of Decatur; sisters: Judy Campbell of Decatur, Kathy Halicki of Olive Hurst, CA, and Karen Stewart of Decatur; brother: Tim Morris (Wendy Rives) of Maroa.

Terry was preceded in death by his father and his brother-in-law: Duane Campbell.
