Joyce A. Strack, 83, of Tuscola, passed away at 12:15 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Joyce was born on December 18, 1937 in Bourbon, IL, the daughter of William and Janie Gribbon Kroll. She married Wilbur G. Strack on July 15, 1966 in Arthur, IL. He preceded her in death on December 28, 2019.

Survivors include her daughters: Cathy (David) Klotz of Kailua Kona, HI and Marcia Chandler of Colville, WA, sons: Brian Thompson of Tacoma, WA and Jeffrey Alan Strack of Tuscola, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Floyd Kroll, Ed Kroll, David Kroll, Bill Kroll, Charles Kroll and sisters: Marjorie Simmons, Helen Flanagan and Doris Davis.

Joyce worked as a registered nurse at the Tuscola Health Care Center for several years before her retirement. She loved to read and enjoyed sewing and needlework.

Memorials are suggested to the Douglas County Animal Shelter.
