Melvin L. Williams, Jr., 34, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in Frisco, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm, Tuesday and from 10:00 am – 11:00 am Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

He was born June 28, 1986 in Michigan City, IN.

Surviving are his mother and step-father Diane and Jerry Schilling of Frisco, TX; father and step-mother, Melvin and Kim Williams, Jr. of Michigan City, IN; four sisters, Amber Bush of Missouri, Amanda Roberts of Tennessee, Rebecca Hammer of Illinois and Tiffany Schilling of Texas; brother, Alex Schilling of Texas; two step-brothers, James Hudson of Pennsylvania and Alexander Roth of Florida; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank E. Williams; and grandparents, Frank & Shirley Williams and Ross & Irene Gunder.

Melvin enjoyed playing the guitar and all of the Chicago sports teams.
