Bement JH Track Competes at annual JHOC

The Bement Bulldog Jr. High boys and girls track teams competed in the annual Jr. High Okaw Conference track and field meet hosted by Okaw Valley on Monday, May 3. The facilities were very nice, the stormy weather held off and the meet was conducted very efficiently with lots of good volunteer efforts.
The seventh grade boys’ team recorded the highest finish of the Bement squads taking fourth place in their division. The eighth grade girls were sixth, the eighth grade boys seventh and the seventh grade girls were eighth.
Will Fuson took first in the seventh grade boys 1600 meters in a time of 5:32.6 to earn a conference championship.
