ALAH JH Boys Track Teams Host Arcola and Villa Grove

The Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond Jr. High boys track traveled to Tuscola for a quadrangular meet with the host school, Paris Crestwood, and Unity.
The eighth grade finished in third place in the team standings. Dalton Vanausdoll was a double event winner in the eighth grade taking first in the 100 meters and 400 meters. The 800 meter relay team also earned a first place.
The seventh grade team also finished in third in a tie with Paris Crestwood. Payton Warrior won the 100 meters and the 400 meter relay team was also victorious.
The jr. high track teams will compete in the Mt. Zion Invitational this Saturday, May 1 and then on Monday, May 3 will be in the annual Junior High Okaw Conference meet at Okaw Valley.
