ALAH JH Boys Track teams host 5 team meet on April 5
Ryan Appleby runs in the eighth grade 110 meter hurdle race in the home meet on Monday, April 5. He finished in second place in the race. The meet featured Junior High Okaw Conference schools, Arcola, LSA, Tri-County, Villa Grove and the host school, Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond.

The Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond Jr. High boys track played hosts to Arcola, LSA, Tri-County and Villa Grove on Monday, April 5. Both the seventh and eighth grade squads finished in second place in the team standings.
Cruz Hale led the way for the seventh grade taking first in both the 800 meters and the 1600 meters. He also ran a leg of the winning eighth grade 1600 meter relay. Payton Warrior won the seventh grade 400 meters. Dalton Vanausdoll took first in the eighth grade shot put with a personal best throw of 40’ 3”. He was also a member of the first place eighth grade 1600 meter relay. The eighth grade 800 meter relay also finished in first.
The jr. high boys will be hosting once again on Thursday, April 15 when Monticello and Unity come to Arthur for a triangular meet.
