QUILTS OF VALOR PRESENTED. On Sunday, March 21 American Legion members Marisa Binion (Arthur Post #479), Larry Miller (Arthur Post #479), Tosha Donnals (Arthur Post #479), and George Clark (Lovington Post #429) who were honored with this tangible reminder of the appreciation and gratitude for their service and were stitched with love, prayers, and healing thoughts. They each received a certificate as well with their name, branch of military, and the words: “The Quilt of Valor Foundation Wishes to recognize you for your sacrifice to our nation. We consider it a privilege to honor you. Though we may never know the extent of your sacrifice and service to protect and defend the United States of America, as an expression of gratitude, we award you this Quilt of Valor.” Not present was Jerry Hale (US Army from 1950-1952) from Arthur Post #479.
