Homecoming Royalty announced after Homecoming football game

The 2021 Homecoming coronation was held last Friday night after the football game. Mackenzi Bowles was crowned Queen and Jack Martin was named King. Also in the picture are Student Council members Bianca Corona, on the left and Jace Green, on the right, who had the honor of crowning the new royalty.

The 2020-21 Homecoming King and Queen were crowned following the exciting Homecoming victory by the ALAH Knights. Student Council Vice-President, Brady Moore introduced the Homecoming Court after the football game last Friday night. Court members lined up on the track to await the coronation of the King and Queen.

Court members included the freshman attendants: Kendall Burdick, daughter of Ryan and Kathleen Burdick and Garrett Casteel, son of Luke and Kim Casteel. Sophomore attendants were Ashley Seegmiller, daughter of Scott and Steffanie Seegmiller, and Nathaniel VanMeter, son of James and Miriam VanMeter. Junior attendants were Brook Tucker, daughter of Ashley Frantz and Brad Frantz and Zack Woodard, son of Justin and Diane Woodard.

Brady then introduced the seniors that were nominated by their classmates for this year’s Homecoming King and Queen. First up were Mackenzi Bowles, daughter of Ryan and Jami Bowles and Jamison Rocke, son of Larry and Sharon Rocke. Next to be introduced were Mackenzie Brown, daughter of Lisa Hood and Andy Brown and Jack Martin, son of Kelly Martin. Next were Adriana Burton, daughter of Amber Burton and Richard Burton and Brayden Borntreger, son of Jeff and Steph Borntreger. The final candidates were Erin Schrock, daughter of Kenny and Melissa Schrock and Austin Plank, son of Martin and Wanda Plank.

Student Council members Bianca Corona and Jace Green were on hand to crown this year’s royalty—Homecoming Queen Mackenzi Bowles and Homecoming King Jack Martin.
