ALAH Homecoming
KING AND QUEEN CANDIDATES. The Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School King and Queen candidates for 2020-2021 have been announced. Queen candidates pictured are Mackenzi Bowles, Erin Schrock, Adriana Burton, and Mackenzie Brown. King candidates pictured include Jamison Rocke, Austin Plank, Brady Bontreger, and Jack Martin. Coronation will take place immediately following the football game on Friday night. Spirit days and other special Homecoming activities took place back in October.
On Friday, March 26 the ALAH Knights will be holding their first home football game of the season. This will also be senior night for football players, cheerleaders, the marching band and color guard along with the coronation of the Homecoming King and Queen after the game.
Senior night will be held before the game on the football field.
Halftime will be filled with entertainment form the Marching Knights. This year’s show is titled “The Grand Expedition”. It is a journey taking us from sea, to land, to space! Enjoy music from Pirates of the Caribbean, Avatar, and Star Wars. Due to COVID-19, there is minimal movement across the field but there are fun surprises along the way! Following the halftime show, the Homecoming Court will be introduced and parade across the field in golf carts.
This year’s court consists of: Freshman Attendants: Kendall Burdick and Garrett Casteel, Sophomore Attendants: Ashley Seegmiller and Nathaniel VanMeter, Junior Attendants: Brook Tucker and Zack Woodard.
Queen Candidates: Makenzie Brown, Adriana Burton, Mackenzi Bowles, Erin Shrock, and King Candidates: Brady Bontreger, Jack Martin, Austin Plank, Jamison Rocke.
Immediately following the football game the coronation ceremony to crown this year’s Homecoming King and Queen will be held on the football field.
