IHSA Expands Number of Spectators for Outdoor Sports

More spectators will now be able to attend outdoor high school sporting events.

The Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois High School Association said Monday that the increase in capacity is for regions in Phase 4.

Those regions will be able to increase the number of spectators from 50 people to 20% venue capacity.

More details will be announced as school officials try to determine the mandates associated with this recent update.   Again, this is for outdoor sports only.
