Bement Middle School to start Basketball & Volleyball Practice on January 20
Doug Kepley, BMS Principal announces, “That as a school in region six in the State of Illinois, we are now under the COVID guidelines of Tier I. Tier I will allow middle school boys basketball and middle school girls volleyball to begin holding practices. We want to start these practices tomorrow, Wednesday, January 20.”
Volleyball and boys’ basketball practices will be held from 3:30 – 5:30. Students must have a current physical on file in order to practice. All students wanting to participate should still attend even if you are waiting on a physical. If you have questions about your child’s physical you may contact Mrs. Bradley in the high school office. We are so excited to begin these practices. Currently, volleyball games may be held since they are considered a medium risk sport. Boys basketball games are on pause at this time since they are considered a high risk sport.
