Santa to Tour Village of Atwood on Thursday, December 10

Listen for the fire truck, watch for the lights and Santa’s HO HO HO because Santa will begin his tour of the streets of Atwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10. It is impossible to know exactly when he will get to each street, so just keep a sharp eye out for the flashing lights.

Santa says that he feels really sad that he won’t be able to give each child a hug, but he wants to keep everyone safe during the pandemic, so he feels he is doing the next best thing by riding on the fire truck and greeting the children.

All children are urged to have their list ready for Santa and one of the firemen or chamber members will pick it up and give it to Santa. The Atwood Chamber of Commerce will follow the fire truck with treat bags for the children.

Santa wants to remind all children not to run out to the firetruck, just wave and he will stop to greet you. He wants to make sure you are safe.

Santa says he is looking forward to seeing all his Atwood children.
