The Atwood Fire Department and the Atwood Chamber of Commerce are teaming up with Santa for him to stop in Atwood on Thursday, Dec. 10.
Santa will leave the fire house at 5:30 p.m. and drive the streets of Atwood to wave at the children.
In order to protect the children, as well as adults, Santa won’t be greeting children with a hug this year, but if children have their lists ready, the firemen or chamber members will take the lists and give them to Santa.
The chamber will be following Santa in another vehicle and hand out treats.
Santa will cruise each street so the time will vary as to what time he will be on your street.
Watch for the lights of the fire truck and listen for the HO HO HO!
Santa wants to greet as many children as possible.
Caution: Please don’t run out to the fire truck, Santa will stop and greet you. He wants to keep all his children safe.
