Covid-19 Update from the Douglas County Museum: Closed til further notice

In response to COVID-19 Tier 3 mitigations announced by Governor Pritzker’s Office, all Illinois Museums are set to close beginning November 20th.

As a result, the Douglas County Museum will be closed until further notice.

Sadly, we will not be able to host our upcoming Motorcycle Exhibit or Breakfast with Santa this year.

We will be contacting those who entered the Photo contest to provide a safe curbside way to pick up their awards and photos soon.
