TRI-COUNTY SHRINE CLUB.

TRI-COUNTY SHRINE CLUB. Members of the Tri-County Shrine Club gather in front of the club’s fire truck during their 17th annual steak fry held recently at the Harris Agriculture Museum in Atwood. The fire truck is to be used in area parades. The tri-county club, which meets at various locations throughout the year, is made up of Shriners from Moultrie, Douglas and Piatt Counties. Shriners, often identified by the red fez, are known for helping children by supporting Shriners International’s 22 children’s hospitals. The tri-county club specifically supports Shriners Hospital for Children in St. Louis. The hospital is known for specialized care including orthopaedic conditions, cleft lip and palate, spinal cord injuries and burns. The club is available to help with patient referrals and gladly accepts donations for the St. Louis hospital. For more information on how to join the club, go to www.beashrinernow.com or contact any club member.
