On November 11, 2020 ALAH HS will be presenting a unique Veteran’s Day program and a day of service to honor our current and past veterans. Virtual speakers, musical performances and service projects will highlight this year’s Veteran’s Day Program. High school students will have multiple opportunities to honor our veterans through a variety of service projects which will benefit and recognize area military that are currently serving, local veterans, and the VA hospital in Danville.
Service projects include repairing bicycles for the VA hospital, creating care packages for current serving members and VA hospital residents, writing letters to current military members, recording and performing patriotic music, making fleece tie blankets, creating signs for our veterans and more.
