Sermon on the “Mount”.
Lessons for life and leadership from the language of the horse was presented by Dr. Lew Sterrett, the Horse Whisperer, from Anadarko, Oklahoma as a great crowd was in attendance on a beautiful but cool fall Friday evening. For over 30 years Sterrett has combined his expertise as a professional horse trainer, a certified youth and family counselor, a licensed pastor, and a successful business executive to produce one of the most unique events in the Christian area. Dr. Lew addressed the heart needs of his horse Pistol and illustrated the steps to overcoming his resistance to change successfully while continuing to strengthen their relationship and how to apply this to for daily living. The free event was held at the Elmer Miller residence located southeast of Arthur over three evenings.
